Backstrap Weaving
Panels 30-40 cm wide. Two or three sewn together. Ceremonial huipil takes 3-6 months.
Village Examples
Chichicastenango: red/yellow sun motifs. San Juan Cotzal: ikat in subtle blues. Todos Santos: striped with brocaded flowers.
